I’ve been a carpenter for over 20 years and I specialise in the design and construction of nature-based playgrounds.

Playground Design
Our full design package for larger designs includes:
- An onsite consultation with me at your school or business where I’ll discuss your vision with you and make suggestions as to how to make the best use of your space
- I will measure your space and draw up the existing playground to ensure that the design is representative of the finished product
- We will then create a bespoke design for you that will include both a 2D plan of the playground as well as 3D sketches of the key elements so you can see what the finished items will look like
- We’ll then make any necessary edits and provide you with a PDF of the design
Playground Construction
I use the highest quality materials. They are sustainably sourced, and include native hardwoods.
Many nature based playground companies are owned by landscapers, with the construction work outsourced to subcontractors. This can cause issues with quality control and blown out timeframes, and also typically means higher company overheads which can drive up prices.
A playground needs to be built to Australian building standards. Sounds obvious, right? But if landscapers are building your playground, they may not have the necessary training in how to build safe structures. All of our playgrounds are built by carpenters and include a Kidsafe safety audit upon completion and handover.
